Dr. John Greene is Vice President and Chief Medical Director at Lincoln Financial Group. He transitioned out of an academic/clinical medical career at Michigan State University into the field of insurance medicine in 2001. He began his insurance career with the Equitable/AXA in 2001 and joined Jefferson-Pilot (now Lincoln Financial Group) in 2003. While at MSU he served as the Predoctoral Curriculum Director, Family Medicine Residency Director, and was the Co-Director of the Michigan Research Network and Primary Medicine Initiative Program. John received the Training Clinical Researchers in Community Settings (TRECOS) Fellowship Award; an NIH grant supported fellowship, and completed fellowship training in Epidemiology.
Gonzalo M. Garcia, CLU, is a Partner at AgencyONE Insurance Marketing Group, LLC, where he is responsible for sales support and advanced markets. Prior to joining AgencyONE, he spent two years with Credit Suisse as a Managing Director in the Fixed Income Division’s Life Finance Group, where he managed insurance company relations for the Group.
In 1992, Gonzalo joined current partners, Ed Leisher and Dennis Bartos, at The Potomac Group in Bethesda, MD, and helped grow the business until the sale to The BISYS Group, in 1998. He stayed with BISYS holding several senior positions, ultimately ascending to Executive Vice President, managing Potomac Advanced Markets (now CPAM) and was a key member of the senior management team before his departure in 2007.
Gonzalo is an active member of AALU (serving as Co-Chair on the Brokerage and Independent Distribution Task force), The Forum400 (having served on the Membership Committee, 2018 Program Planning Committee and Industry Partner Committee), NAILBA and SFSP. Finally, he serves on the BGA Advisory Council for Prudential Life Insurance Company and is a Board Member of LifeMark Partners.
Gonzalo attended Rice University in Houston, TX, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, in 1984, majoring in Management Studies and Psychology and subsequently went on to receive an MBA from The College of Insurance (now St. John’s University) in New York City, in 1985. He is a resident of Arlington, VA with his wife Alexandra.
